It’s that time of year again…
to tip our hats to the one Trappist ale that has always bucked the abbey ale trend. Belgian Pale Ale? Saison? A debate for the ages, but one thing’s certain, Orval continues to prove itself as one of the best in the world.
Dry-hopped and bottle-conditioned with brettanomyces, Orval is superbly effervescent with ever changing floral, herbal, and earth tones – we’ll let you sort out the specifics.
Each year Merchant Du Vin, importers of Orval, donates a portion of all US sales of Orval on this day – Saturday, May 21st. This year’s contribution will go to the National Forest Foundation, planting trees and promoting the health of America’s 193 million-acre National Forest system.
If you’ve never had Orval or need a refresher, we’ll be sampling this one-of-a-kind beer throughout the afternoon this Saturday. Stop in for taste and grab a bottle or two to take home – all for a great cause.
We’ll drink to that!
