Buzzard's Roost Cigar Rye Straight Rye Whiskey

This Kentucky-based independent bottler launched in 2019 and is now ensconced on Louisville’s Whiskey Row. Fresh new oak on the nose, along with a blast of fresh rye grains, licorice, and fennel. There is lots of depth on the palate, with baked fruits including red apples and raspberries interwoven by savory spice and jalapeno pepper heat, followed by a fairly long finish. 92 Points Whiskey Advocate
