2021 Vintage- Domaine de Saint-Just lies in Dive, 10 km south of Saumur in the Saumur-Champigny appellation. It was founded in 1996 by Yves Lambert who still runs the business today, alongside his son Arnaud. The 40 hectares of vineyard are planted with Cabernet Franc and Chenin and cultivated free from pesticides and chemical products. The domain converted to organic viticulture in 2009 and received official certification in 2012. Every wine in the Domaine Saint-Just range is of an impressive quality
This wine comes from a clay and chalk-rich terroir and is remarkably well-balanced and fresh. It expresses delicate red fruit aromas with a hint of spice on the nose. The palate is both fleshy and velvety, with a distinctive and very pleasant fresh quality, and has a subtly liquorice finish.
