Our yeast was born out of University of California, Berkeley, via our friends at Berkeley Yeast. Berkeley's brewing science has been at the forefront of yeast genome & DNA-editing to create yeast that enhances aromatics, flavor, and overall quality.
We worked closely with Berkeley Yeast to pinpoint yeast strains that amplify the classic American pale ale characteristics and hop flavors, and compliment them with pre and postcursors to create a genetically superior pale ale that's familiar, yet unlike any you've experienced before.
