Smells Like Bean Spirit Decadent is a Breakfast Stout with Vermont Maple Syrup, Heady Cup Coffee Roasters Long Jump/Colombian Coffee Bean Blend, CacaoCuvee Cacao Nibs, and Saigon Cinnamon.
This is our first time using Heady Cup Coffee Roasters, and we love how their beans worked out in this variant. They are out of McHenry, Illinois.
And over the years, we have played around with several different cacao nib producers, but truly think CacaoCuvee is on another level. They are out of Rockford, Illinois.
And when using maple, you gotta get it from Vermont! We used Grade A Pure Vermont Maple Syrup from Barred Wood Maple.
It takes a village of some amazing vendors with killer ingredients to create a beer like this, but once you get that first whiff of cinnamon and coffee and maple, and those decadent flavors of milk chocolate and sticky maple, it sends all the feels!
