2020 Vintage- Venus La Universal, Dido 2020 is a tribute to youth, tenacity, love and Grenache. The wine, from the Falset plots, exhibits delicious fruit, and is aged in ceramic amphorae to preserve an extraordinary freshness and purity.
Blend with 70% Grenache, 20% Syrah, 10% Cabernet Sauvignon/Merlot, which come from the plots of Falset (Tarragona). This wine comes from a 10-hectare estate of degraded granite, which is locally called sauló. The sandy structure of granite together with its high quartz composition allows it to change temperature rapidly depending on the weather. Heating during the day and cooling at night, thus allowing a good and long ripening and an incredible fruit expression.
