2020 Vintage- Deep ruby in colour. Medium+ aromas of red cherry, red currant, as well as blackberry, hints of smoke, vanilla and some forest floor, and intense herbaceous (green bell pepper, oregano) from a stems “involvement” in the winemaking.
On the palate it is dry with high acidity, medium+ tannins (quite round), medium alcohol and body. Medium intensity with some sour notes. Finish is medium, leaves some persistent raspberry and red currant notes.
