2009 Vintage- This is a precise yet opulent Suduiraut with the purest of fruit, perfectly-integrated sweetness and a long finish revealing a beautiful acidity. The attack is rich and crisp at the same time. The palate reveals candied citrus flavours, followed by wood and liquorice, leading through perfectly into a smooth, fruity finish. In this very sunny vintage, we can sense very great potential, with 2009 following in the footsteps of the truly great Sauternes.
This is loaded, with gorgeous papaya, mango, yellow apple and creamed peach flavors carried by salted caramel, toasted coconut and ginger cream notes. Very long on the finish, this just sails on and on. Showing terrific range and depth, this has a long life ahead of it. Best from 2014 through 2035.
