As one of the highest distilleries in Scotland, Dalwhinnie Distillery lies between the grassy Lowlands and the austere Speyside, that begins some 40 kilometers to the north within the Scottish Highlands. Committed to tradition, Dalwhinnie uses traditional wood for its washbacks and has only two copper stills to this day. Awarded an impressive 95 points in Jim Murray's Whisky Bible, Dalwhinnie 15 Year Old Single Malt is an impressively gentle, yet deep spirit, with elements of honey, spice and heather.
