Helenental #GVLTAT Gruner Veltliner Liter Bottle

2024 Vintage The wine is fermented and aged in stainless steel and has 5 g/L of residual sugar. It is also vegan friendly. The 2023 Helenental Kellerei #GVLTAT Grüner Veltliner opens with a pleasing aroma of lime, pear, kiwi, a touch of peppery spice and some vegetal notes. It’s a nice start. Tasting the wine reveals flavors similar to the nose with fresh and juicy fruit plus good acidity and a lively mouthfeel. This is quite easy and refreshing to drink and while it’s on the simple side, it offers a good representation of this under-appreciated (in the US anyway) variety.
