There’s a difference btw. One involves us yelling at you and saying things that we will certainly regret and the other involves our inner child throwing a tantrum at the top of their imaginary lungs while stomping up and down in the middle of an imaginary store like a toddler that only had two licks of an ice cream cone before it fell on the ground and their mom said she wouldn’t buy them another, and then realizing that this is all on us which only makes that inner child way more raging mad and the cycle starts anew. It’s vicious and it’s healthy and yes, it’s a process.
