Cheramie Rum Blanc

Cheramie Rum taps into Louisiana's rich agricultural heritage. This unique spirit is the creation of Porchjam, Louisiana's largest distillery, which in 2018, ventured into new terrain by distilling fermented fresh cane juice. Cheramie Rum stands out from nealry all domestic rum production by using fresh cane juice instead of molasses working in an Agricole style. The meticulous process of harvesting, crushing, fermenting and distilling is executed in a brief window when the cane juice is at its peak freshness. Cheramie takes advantage of the many varieties of cane grown within just a few minutes of the distillery. After distillation the spirit is left to rest for a minimum of 3 months before bottling. Not only is this one of the most affordable fresh cane rums in the store, but one of the most delicious as well!
