Let's talk some numbers. This is our FIFTH total Jeppson's store pick, our THIRD with our buddies Olympic Tavern, and one of the FIRST Jeppson's barrels we ever selected. This barrel was selected by Aaron, Zac, and Zak back in early 2022 on our first trip to CH to pick what became our first Artale/Olympic Jeppy bourbon. While at CH, we ended up tasting and tagging a Kentucky barrel that was 4.5 years old at that time. Well, it's been sitting and aging since and now it's here - in all of its 7-year glory. We saw a ton of potential in it then, and we're ecstatic with it now.
Big cream of wheat vibes with subtle swirls of brown sugar and pure maple. Cherry and peach notes compliment cedar aromatics, adding a touch of brightness against a velvety texture, with a too-easy-to-drink level from something stamped 129 proof.
This one is a real winner and worth the wait.
